Itinerary

DAY 1

Sunday, August 3: Depart USA for

Today depart the USA from your airport and board your overnight flight to Europe arriving the next day. Enjoy a full meal service as well as entertainment on board.

Monday – Friday, August 4 – 8: Arrive to Medjugorje and Experience the Youth Festival

Welcome to Europe! After your arrival, change gates to board your short connecting flight to Split. Upon arrival at the Split Airport, you will collect your luggage at baggage claim and continue to the arrivals hall to meet your guide. You will then be escorted to your private motorcoach for your transfer to your hotel in Medjugorje. Upon arrival, you will have time to settle and meet downstairs to enjoy a group welcome dinner. After eating dinner, we will depart to the center of Medjugorje and begin our Jubilee pilgrimage with the opening of the Medjugorje Youth Festival with a welcoming Mass followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. After the festival, you are free to explore the grounds at your leisure. For the rest of the week, between breakfast and lunch, we will follow and enjoy the Youth Festival Program! Each evening, after the festival program, dinner will be on our own to explore different options. 

Saturday, August 9: Journey to Gradnići Parish, Old Brotnjo Church Mass, Winery Tour, Tasting, & Traditional Dinner

Following breakfast, we will board our bus and take a drive down the Wine Route Herzegovina to visit Gradnići Parish, the oldest parish in the region of Brotnjo. The parish comprises of the Old Brotnjo Church, built between 1855-1861 using funds from domestic wine and villagers; the oldest parish house in the region of Herzegovina, donated by the villagers of Gradnići in 1756 and renovated in 1825; the oldest wine cellar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as an ethnographical museum and some historic church items. Upon arrival, we will have a privately guided tour of the parish and then have a private Mass in the Old Brotnjo Church. Following Mass, we will enjoy a spectacular winery tour, tasting of local wines, and a traditional Herzegovinian lunch. After a full day at the parish site, we will board our bus and make our way to our hotel in Medjugorje. On our way, we will take the scenic route through Brotnjo, taking in the mountainous beauty of this region. Upon our return, we will enjoy free time and then gather to enjoy a group dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants in the center of the town.

Sunday, August 10: Medjugorje Museum, Cultural & Artistic Center and Free Day

This morning after breakfast at our hotel, we will take a short walk into the center of Medjugorje and make our way to the Church of St. James for Sunday Mass. After Mass, we will visit the Medjugorje Museum, cultural and artistic center where we will discover more about the region of Brotnjo and the phenomenon of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary through holograms and video projections. At the museum, we will learn more about the history of Brotnjo and Medjugorje through various photos, vocal and video recordings. While here, we will have free time for lunch and then a free afternoon and evening to explore the center of the town, full of shops, cafés, and restaurants. Pilgrims get the chance to pick and choose what sites interest them individually and explore Medjugorje at their own pace. Some exciting places to explore during our free time include the Garden with the Stations of the Cross, the Statue of the Risen Christ, the Church of St. James, and the local food markets and shops that line the street. We will conclude the day with a festive farewell dinner at our hotel.  

Monday, August 11: Journey Home

After breakfast and with beautiful, shared memories of our time in Medjugorje, we will check out of our hotel and board our bus for our group transfer to Split Airport for your return flights home.

Payment Schedule, Payment Options, & Cancellation Policy

  • A deposit of $500 per person is due upon registration.
  • Final payment/remainder of balance is due by June 30, 2025.

Cancellation Policy

  • From the date of registration to 91 days prior to the departure date, there is a $500.00 charge per person.
  • Between 90 and 61 days prior to the departure date, there is a $500.00 charge and 50% of the total trip cost.
  • Within 60 days prior to the departure date, 100% of total trip cost is charged.
